“Get equipped with heaven’s vision”

Trent Anderson

Who Attends?

We have young and old, single and married, those with and without children.

When do the meetings start and how long do they last?

Our Sunday services begin at 10:30am. Greeters will be at the main entrance to direct you where you need to go. Our meetings typically include a time of praise and worship, and a time of preaching or teaching. The meeting will normally finish around 12pm.

Parking and Transportation

We have plenty of parking. At this point, city buses do not pass the building, but the Collison (Route 10) stops about a 10 minute walk away at 9:40am and 10:20am.

What is there for children?

Our children join us for our time of praise and worship. If you need to feed or change your child, please ask one of the stewards for assistance.

We have a vibrant children’s ministry for children to age 12. The children usually go to their classes mid-way through our service to enjoy interactive, high-energy classes that teach the exciting reality of God’s Word, as well as games, laughter and the opportunity to make new friends.

Who will look after my children?

We have policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and well being of all children in our care. Anyone who wishes to work with babies, children and youth at New Life Church are approved by the leadership. All of our volunteers are trained and love working with children and youth to help them grow in their walk with God.

What is there for teenagers?

On Sunday, teenagers (13 upwards) stay in the auditorium for all of the service. We believe that the youth are capable and mature enough to hear the preached word in our meetings. Occasionally, they will meet Friday evenings for games and opportunities to get involved and learn about topics that are relevant to them.

Are there disabled facilities?

Yes. There are disabled parking spaces outside the main doors to the church building. There are double doors at the building entrance and wheelchair access throughout. There so also a disabled restroom in the lower level, with an elevator to the lower level from the auditorium.

Both adults and children with Special Educational Needs attend New Life Church and it’s our aim to ensure all aspects of church life are accessible to disabled and able bodied, alike.

What is the dress code?

At New Life Church you can come as you are. You will see people dressed business casual or casual, including jeans and t-shirts.

What is the worship like at NLC?

We enjoy contemporary praise and worship which usually lasts about 30-45 minutes, starting at approximately 10:30am. During this time you can expect to see people singing, clapping, lifting their hands and praying.

You will also see and hear the gifts of the Holy Spirit in action (1 Corinthians 12).

Will there be an offering?

Yes – we take up an offering each week. However, this is for church members and there is no expectation that guests should contribute.

What happens after the meeting?

At the end of the meeting you are welcome to join us downstairs in the cafe, which is in the lower level. Most people stay after the service for tea, coffee or soft drinks which are served in the cafe and foyer. This is a great time to get to know people or catch up with friends.

Why not join us this Sunday?
